Change your messaging during a crisis

When the world is in the midst of a crisis, like a recession or the COVID-19 pandemic, speaking to people about their current problems and helping them in that context is critical. In this video, I’ll show you three examples of how to change your messaging - in a caring, non-sleazy way! - so that you can let people know how you can help them immediately. And keep your business going.

In this video, I'll show you a few examples of how some very different businesses can change their messaging so that it's still part of their core business, yet tied closely to what is most on their ideal customers' minds.

In conclusion

If you're concerned about how you speak to your intended audience during difficult times, you've now seen how you can alter your core messaging so that it speaks clearly to people's current problems and concerns.

Changing your message doesn't mean you're being opportunistic. What you're doing is telling people that you care for them, and that you understand what they're going through, and that you are ready to help them. Which isn't that different from what you do in "normal" or non-crisis times. You're just letting your people know that you're very much in tune with what is most on their minds at the moment.
